Physician and Medical Careers: Home Care Jobs

We have several medical specialties in our practice including primary care/internal medicine, podiatry, wound care debridement, and diagnostic testing technicians. All home care jobs offer several advantages compared to a traditional office or hospital, including:

  • Because of the nature of home visits and the condition of our patients, our average panel is approximately 250 patients, allowing employees to understand patient needs and get to know them and their caregivers personally.
  • Our physicians visit fewer patients per day than an office or hospital. If a patient requires hospitalization or nursing home care, while we continue to coordinate the care, we do not follow patients.
  • We’ve made large investments in state-of-art information technology with the NextGen enterprise solution and electronic medical records (EMR). Our physicians have extensive access to patient records, care coordination, and scheduling/logistics for the visits.
  • We provide excellent support to our physicians, handling all back office functions, maintaining vendor relationships, billing/collections as well as the sales and marketing for all specialties.
  • Our doctors rotate call for nights and weekends. Since we handle the home care portion of care, not acute care, the calls are more manageable and are virtually always handled by phone.
