Home Physicians was founded in 1995 with the sole purpose of serving patients in their residences. We have remained dedicated to that mission despite many changes in the industry and our company. We firmly believe that quality physician-led patient care and coordination at home through Doctor housecalls improves both outcomes and reduces total costs.
Our experience and focus has enabled us to develop the expertise needed to manage complex issues. We have relationships with vendors for testing, durable medical equipment, and skilled nursing to provide virtually everything needed for effective senior and adult physician home care. In recent years, we have accelerated our investments in both people and technology to broaden our service area and improve patient care.
Since we deal almost exclusively with homebound Medicare beneficiaries, often in their last years of life, we are accustomed to counseling patients and their families. We understand the resources available to provide public aid, better insurance coverage, and other home living arrangements in senior communities and or assisted/supportive living. In select cases, we recommend hospice care to improve care, reduce hospitalizations, and enable a person to pass in dignity and comfort at home.
